Quarantine

It feels like forever since we were told to "stay home and stay safe." In all actuality it has been a little over a month; even still - it has been long enough to start going stir crazy. When I get restless and there is nothing to do, I like to jump in the truck and just drive. I like to let my curiosity lead me wherever it may. The photos below are from my most recent wanderings. 

Under The Sea

A few weeks ago my family took a quick trip down to the coast for the weekend. We drove about 4 hours to Corpus Christi, Texas. We stayed at a hotel along the beach where when we opened our balcony door we could hear the waves and smell the salt in the air. I spent most of the time soaking up the fun with my family, but I did manage to snap some photos while we were at the Texas State Aquarium. Have you ever been to an aquarium?

A Grand Adventure

I was recently asked to document a grand opening event for a local business within my community. I was more than flattered and also thrilled to participate in such a fun event. Adventure Kids Playcare - Woodforest is brand new to the Woodforest community; they offer drop in childcare services 7 days a week. The concept is SO cool and extremely needed for parents everywhere. Drop in care at an affordable rate from trusted neighbors is ideal for date nights, doctors appointments, meetings, etc. I know I will be using them in the future for my little guy. Anyhow - the event was a blast! There were many community vendors set up: School of Rock performed (a local music school for teens!), there was face painting, balloon making, a magician, hand spun cotton candy, and so much more!
